WEEK 1: MARCH 30TH- APRIL 5TH For the stippling art project I have chosen to do a butterfly. I started my art project off by gridding my reference photo and my paper to scale.
WEEK 2 AND 3: APRIL 6TH- 19TH I started this week off by lightly sketching out the butterfly on my paper comparing it to the reference photo. I made sure while drawing that every little thing was accurate and precise, making sure everything was matching each square on the grid.
WEEK 4: APRIL 20TH- 26TH I continued to lightly sketch my butterfly onto the paper making sure everything was still accurate to the reference photo. When I finished sketching about half way through the week I began to start stippling my butterfly with a black ballpoint pen. I had to go slow observing each point I made, making sure it wasn’t messy and was proportional to every other dot I had made.
WEEK 5: APRIL 27TH- MAY 3RD I worked on critiquing my own artwork this week and my partners. I answered questions regarding my partners artwork, and I gave advice if she needed it. My partner did the same thing I did, but for my artwork.
