I TRACED A CANDLE I LIKED ON ILLUSTRATOR WITH THE PEN TOOL. I MADE THE CANDLE GREEN AND THE FLAME YELLOW. I THEN COPIED THE CANDLE AND PUT INTO PHOTOSHOP WHERE I CUT PART OF MY CANDLE OUT AND ADDED A TEXT.

PROJECT REFLECTION: I CHOSE TO DO A CANDLE, BECAUSE PEOPLE ALWAYS SAY MY LAST NAME REMINDS THEM OF A CANDLE. MY LAST NAME IS CANDELARIA, WHICH SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE IT. IT'S PRACTICALLY LIKE MY OWN CANDLE COMPANY. MY EXPERIENCE HAD SOME PROBLEMS, LIKE FILLING IN THE CANDLE. I DIDN'T FILL THE CANDLE IN BECAUSE IT DIDN'T LOOK AS GOOD AS I WANTED IT TO LOOK. I THINK I PLAYED MY PROJECT PRETTY SAFE. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TOO HARD OR CRAZY. ITS PRETTY BASIC. FOR THE PHOTOSHOP TUTORIALS I TOOK A NORMAL IMAGE FROM THE INTERNET, AND WATCHED A VIDEO TO LEARN THE STEPS TO CREATE THIS COLORED HAIR. IN THE PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL I TOOK THE PAINT BRUSH AND CHOSE THE COLORS BLUE AND PURPLE TO CHANGE THE HAIR COLOR. THEN I CLEANED THE IMAGE UP WITH THE ERASER TOOL.

THE LETTER PORTRAIT WAS COMPOSED UP OF PHOTOS I TOOK OUTSIDE THAT LOOKED LIKE THE LETTERS IN MY NAME. ONCE I GOT EACH LETTER IN MY NAME I HAD TO SAVE THEM ONTO MY GOOGLE DRIVE, AND HAD TO SELECT EACH PHOTO INDIVIDUALLY AND THEN REFINE THE EDGES OF EACH. AFTER REFINING THE EDGES I COPIED THE PHOTO AND PASTED IT ONTO PORTRAIT (BACKGROUND.) SINCE EACH PHOTO WAS DIFFERENT SIZES I HAD TO RESIZE THEM AND LINE THEM UP.
